This is a genuine ask. Can someone please explain to me why they like yahwi so much?

@Lyssa besides being the most attractive character in the story, his personality goes in hand with his trauma. He is the most human and the one that suffered the most. He saw his parents being killed and his grandpa blamed him for it making him unable to trust anyone so he locked his heart away. Then we have Jooin that excuses himself saying that was his first time dealing with tha situation, just no reason for his bad behaviour. Then cain that had love, money, support, everything but still turned abusive. He lied to Jooin, coerced him, abused him, forced his own feelings on Jooin knowing he loved someone else, manipulated Jooin making him believe he was bad for loving someone else and not him, he tried to manipulate Jooins feelings and didnt succeed. Among the 3 characters Yahwi is the only one with a decent story and reason to be cold and shut down to others. He is one of the most forgivable red flags, had the best development and actually deserved a secod chance, not like others. "But he slapped Jooin", the author considered that a best choice to r ape that is what every other top does in that situation and everyone forgives them in no time. A slap is way less abusive that brutal r ape like Seungho or Taeju did in similar situations. "But he raped Jooin", first time they were both drunk and Jooin made the first step, and that one time everyone hates Jooin literally gave his consent, not verbal since no one does, but he accepted it and started sucking because he wanted it. Jooin said he wants to do it with Yahwi whenever, Yahwi never forced him to do something he did not want and never took advantage of his pain and emotional distress to sleep with him. You may not like him, but those that do like him have many reasons to. We like him because we understood and connected with his character and because he is Yahwi
@Ad1 very well said, Cain is indeed sweet towards Jooin that's why some of the readers thought his intention was pure, and compared his personality with Yahwi's
@Lyssa it think that yahwi is a better fit for jooin because he's already is own person but needs someone to help him heal and experience love, and jooin is the first person to make him feel that way since that tragedy happened to him.
at first i really liked yahwi's personality, because he was genuinely intrigued by jooin, he was fun and cocky.
he probably hadn't realized that he needed help yet, but experiencing that warmth and sweetness that was so familiar (since he and jooin knew each other as kids) and unfamiliar (since jooin is the only one that made him feel it) at the same time, clicked something in him.
i'm not super pleased with how his character developed, but i can see why he became so needy and depressed: the first person that got closed to him for him and not his money or his looks got away, and that made him realize how much he needed help to heal from his trauma.
i believe he both had trust issues and abandonment issues: his trust issues made him not aknowledge jooin's feelings, and his abandonment issues made him desperate for having jooin back when he got away.
for the first time he felt safe with someone, and as soon as that someone distanced himself from him, he couldn't bare it and tried so hard to cling to everything he could.
i think that yawhi has his own flaws, for example he was super selfish, at first he only wanted jooin because he made him feel better, and didn't care about jooin's resentment towards him, which made him go as far and cold as he could.
all that jooin wanted was to be normal, to have normal relationships and have a typical and simple college life, which is why he grew a backbone and stand up for himself, reminding yahwi that he owed nothing to him.
that is why i appreciate the way that jooin reacted more than the way that yahwi did, but i can see why they're fit to be a nice couple.
if they ended up together in their school life it would have been a toxic relationship, because they wanted different things and loved each other in ways that were too different: jooin was young and naive and his love was just like him, meanwhile yawhi's was desperate and all over the place.
them meeting up in the future, when they both have matured and understood their mistakes is the perfect ending in my opinion, because now they can see each others as equals, yahwi is not someone to be scared of and jooin is not there only to comfort and pleasure his sunbae.
if you want to know my opinion about cain: i think that he needs to grow into his own person and being tied with jooin keeps him locked in a cage.
cain may have been a dog in his previous life, but he's not a dog anymore. he's a person who needs to understand his value and his personality before getting into a relationship.
the people that said that they wanted him to end up with jooin really get on my nerves because that would have been super toxic to both jooin and cain.
cain thought that his sole purpose in life was jooin, it was like an unhealthy obsession that made him completely blind. jooin could have never given him the same amount of love he would have received, so if they ended up together it would have been only because he wanted to be loved.
the reason cain treated him well is because he had no personality, hobbies or goals in life except jooin and this can only lead to toxicity
