@Ryip I think u don't get the point. This girl for sure have "abandonment issues". It's best to push someone away before they could hurt her It's what she would have thought. And again notice how even though she have her whole family with her she still only ask for their help when it's something magic related and let's leave the emperor here. She doesn't even want to do anything with him. Also even Nasar realized his feeling after such a long time so he actually very less time to make her believe he wanted to get romantically involved with her instead of mere duty. Also the books prophecy had a great impact on her too tho I don't think it is a major reason here for Nasar's case. But just know this girl has lived her life in survival mode . Sooo all those trust issues are bound to show somewhere hence here and honestly she is giving it a thought. Let's just hope for the best for Nasar cause I love him too
@Ryip Actually Phil liked Nasar as well but when she got to know that he never wanted to get along with her in the first place she started to distance herself from him. She closed her heart for everyone including the emperor and Nasar because once she heard the emperor says it's better if she lives like a dead rat and also the conversation of Nasar with his father that he wanted to play with his friends rather than stay with the princess.
So after hearing all those hurtful things she obviously closed her heart and slowly her love faded for him as well 😭
