Actually in novel she want to drag him also so she said lie. But she sow the seed in people mind, and now she even make her child scapegoat because now no one believes that she is royal child even though she was.

He will become depressed, so he will start to get dulu of navier and try to run after her but fall down then lost his memory and return to those days when he loves and. His personality will split in 2. Day version when he loves her, night is current version where he know there is nothing he can do. But past version start to hate because he can't accept that he hurt navier so he want to vanish current version. Same for current one because past one can't reign the empire
