@TotallyAbsurd you clearly never were a victim of abuse, lack of affection/attention and neglect as a child. I find it pretty realistic. When you were an abused child it usually takes a lot of time effort and love to be able to free yourself and function normally again. I had the habit of staying silent every time because even when I speaked nobody listened and cared for me.
