ik I'm getting downvoted for this, but part of why they're in such a state might be because of inbreeding. isolated human population, literally living underground. not much options around, limited genetic pool.

transmasc ≠ trans man i go by he/they because that's what I'm more comfortable with idk where in my bio it says im a cishet dude claiming the lesbian label for funsies
