He only ever show sexual attraction to the elf. 
So im guessing its bc elves live a long time.. 
Also peop bc.. They beautifull AF. 
But.. Bc.. Of his immortality.. He might be seeing normal humans lile that of childrens unconciously... 
Just a theory tho

but elves did like humans even through they were alot younger

@Blue It make sense, the other adventurers he is with are teenagers, he is mentally like 40 years old.
