The way I kinda remember is that it's kinda like alphas and omegas with cool powers but like way more interestingÂ
So basically evil beasts came to earth a massive angel saved them but died so to protect themselves and future generations by making esters which were the first creation fully or mostly with the Angel DNAÂ
So they are extremely strong and their powers can be overwhelmingÂ
Then there are sort of hybrids which are guidesÂ
Made of human and Angel dna and also has some abilities but can calm down espers mainlyÂ
Their strength is determined by their level so they try to match them up with a similar levelÂ
