The story line seems to be riveting, but somehow I couldn't grasp the concept of the plot, where is the author leading us? Also though you get a gist of the nature of character, but I agre with Curious Reader that the physical description is lacking, especially since many characters are introduced straight from the beginning of the novel.
But your brother did a good job, creating something is praiseworthy:)
