Since Aeroc is Kloff's fated mate. When he's not actually with him, and not able to take in his pheromones. It causes some sort of pheromone illness that Alpha's can suffer from. One symptom is unchecked aggression and fuc*** up temperance. So they kinda turn mad/violent. The side story this was explained in, was in the 'first life' where Kloff was away from Aeroc for 5+ years; and thus he ended up as messed up as he did on the return. Kinda sucks how the author tried to excuse Kloff's sh** with an illness, so it somehow makes it understandable. Eugh.
