Y'all he clearly did do it on purpose like everyone is stating, but it's still not okay. There were plenty of other ways he could have exposed her to MC without sleeping with her. It's clear he likes MC and probably wanted their relationship to end, but his way of taking things into his own hands like this is still really toxic and creepy.
