Moving on to couple years later, here's the part where FL ended up hating ML and not wanting to marry ML. FL's mom ends up dying due to ML's mom. ML feels a ton of regret not being able to help and FL is in so much pain so she chooses to blame ML for everything after losing her mom. She doesn't want to marry ML and says to her father she won't marry the son of her enemy. The Count threatens her that she was going to marry ML, otherwise she was going to marry old rich Marquis cause the Count needed money. Of course, ML steps in and marries FL anyways to save her. He gives the Count money to fend him off so FL doesn't have to face her father. FL treats ML coldly and hates him. They have their son out of duty so she treats her son badly as well. FL regrets all of this and confesses in the current life that she was sorry to ML for blaming him when none was his fault. She acknowledges that he was a victim too. ML is just tooooooooooo good so he tells her that no matter what, he still loves her and she has nothing to be sorry for. He even apologies many times during and after to her, which she tells him to not apologize anymore.
