Logically, how the f*ck did the prince said 1 year is "suffices"? Like how? Can anyone please tell this mfer that he just:
1. Lost a fcking war THEY started.
2. Gone in DEEP DEEP debt because they borrowed money with ZERO collateral.
3. Lost at least ten of thousands, if not HUNDRED of thousands of soldier.
4. They are STILL in a MASSIVE famine.

Any country, and I mean ANY countries, in manga or real life, in that situation will have its goverment overthrown, killed and establish a new one in hope of FIXING those things. How can a coutry in such state spare another year?

@KHM_01  he is saying that he will give up his status and join the magic tower. And in exchange, the magic tower will save the country by getting rid of the curse, which saves them from famine and starts to recover their finance. I think by that one year he meant that he will join the magic tower for a year, and that will be enough to save the country.

@KHM_01 smh, you didn't even read it right. He is talking about the famine. He is going to give up his title as a prince and go to the magic tower and find out who cause the famine. That's what he meant as, "1 year will suffice".

@KHM_01 i think it means that he will sell himself to the magic tower for a year to get the arch bishop and find who cursed the land.
