jo is the supposed embodiment of what ian wants in life (peace, good fam, happy, etc) and even tho i do think ian really does like him, i can't tell if him being w jo stems from wanting to be him rather than actually be with him. and the authors given sm as to why he should logically end up with jo
TJ on the other hand is what Ian's used to and they've known each other so long and he's stuck with ian through in and through out, (helped w his addiction, saved hi, etc) like it feels almost unatural for him to just up and leave when the guy knows sm abt the real him and still loves who he is. but ian wants to leave any ties he has w his past behind.
So is he gonna choose the dude he shares his scars with or the dude who is the personification of moving on and starting over😭
