based on my understanding in this story..one of them will be the king and end the curse of the royal family..but in this chapter the crown prince will get rid the possible threat for charteris reign..so charteris will be the next king in my assumption.

@yhan28 charteris will be the next king as I know from novel spoilers. But I can't decipher eswars feelings. He's ambitious and cute and creepy.
@Sadia Islam yeah..but i hope charteris will be the king so he can give justice to those who sacrifice their lives to build the kartezen empire..
@yhan28 that's what I was thinking like the fl is queen if you look that the whole chess thing and charteris brother is shown as a knight which I think he'll work in favour of them and charteris will thr next king
