Also we can't forget the fact that she might have adult software, but her hardware is a 5 year olds.

Aka, hyper active hormones, an undeveloped forebrain, and overactive primitive part of the mind (responsible for impulses and the reward center of the brain.)  You can't really expect a child's hardware to perfectly run an adult level of emotions and actions.
