@Ruth Kazembe don’t read if you don’t want to be spoiled. His a ghost I.e he can turn betas into omegas, that’s called changing, and to do that he has to knot with the beta. His eyes change colour a few hours after knoting as prouve of the changing process . I have a h*l lot of spoiles cus a read all the novel. Hit me up if you want more

@ezpaysi there is a lot to say😂, but basically ; The hot top let’s call him ghost, and call the bottom didi(you’ll know why in a minute) Him being a ghost meant every time he knoted with a beta it would change them into an omega, but it is progressive, it won’t just happen because of one or two nights. For the first time, the « ghost » couldn’t control his knoting, that’s why he was so distressed afterwards, and in later chapters you’ll notice that he is never there in the morning after the… you know what. He messed up when he didn’t tell Didi(short for diamond dust) . Now, why do you think he can smell didi’s pheromones despite him being a beta? Why do you think for the first time he couldn’t control the urge to knot? No, it wasn’t cause he « fell in love » or because the s*x was so great(well, it’s still part of the reason) , It was because MC is what they call a Diamond dust, basically a beta with pheromones that only a ghost can smell. In this story Ghosts are a myth, but Didis are unheard of. That’s why the Top MC didn’t know about him being a didi. And him being a didi did enhance the sexual experience « a lot »

@Kuromi let me know if at any point your lost cus I can be pretty crazy when writing 😅 I’ll skip some parts cus you’ll still read them anyways, I’ll focus only on the plot (to the best of my ability) Okay so, the story turns around the fact that he hid the transformation from mc(Didi) , at some point they went to Boston in the USA for exhibitions and to see new places and broaden Didi’s horizon, to spark his creativity etc, while in the states , they visited a couple who raised the ghost and trained him into a golden alpha (the man the ghost had on the phone after the s*x scène was actually his adoptive father) . The couple was an alpha female and a beta male who is a specialist who studied golden alphas and secondary gender , so the ghost went to him to seek advice about what was happening to Didi, and why despite being a beta he released pheromones. That was when he was handed a book by his foster dad. The book had records of changing performed by the first recorded Ghost ( Weikun’s ancestor) it was his dairy and in it there was mention of a lover who was a beta but as unbelievable as may have seemed to anyone reading it, he released pheromones only the ghost could perceive (it was a taboo love story with a tragic end). So the ancient ghost called him Didi short for Diamond Dust (rings a bell?😏). After reading the diary, kun had some answers to his questions but he still didn’t tell any of this to Didi.
