genuinely have found it so unbeleivably annoying and unsatisfying that the main character waits until like the last moment to actually kill someone, like bro they're not suddenly going to become a good person, and the fact that he didnt kill the guy earlier caused all those intermediate level spirits to cease

@Gr0ngler why would the mc do something that will hinder his quest? He only do it when he thinks letting them live is a greater hinder than killing them
