Suo is from a prestigious martial arts family and his family is a stickler for rules. The family is very conservative but Suo doesn't like their thought process so he felt like an outcast in his own family and left.
OR, he's an illegitimate kid/2nd wife's kid and isn't being treated nicely by his family so he left or in the same scenario, it could be a serious siblings rivalry
