@Ichigosdirtysock we have had this discussion even years ago when this chapter was new. My take is: yeah joohee 'liked' him when he was an e rank but both of them has the same reason. Joohee liked him for being brave, persistent and cool for saving her even with him being weak which made her comfortable with him, and cha likes him for being brave and cool for saving her and that she's comfortable with him due to him not smelling like other hunters. The only problem here is that Jinwoo reminds Joohee of trauma, instead of enjoying him as a person she would only be reminded of awful things when they are together and that's for her to unpack and Jinwoo respects that. It's a matter of moving on, I see joohee as an ex that didn't even start. I honestly genuinely like Cha Eunhee and I do think that they have a really good dynamic going on, plus she helps Jinwoo build his confidence on himself. Because at the moment he seems to think he is just an average man hahaha. Tbf tho even before his 'reawakening' I already really like him, he was already in my favourite list in the early chapters. Something about the brave, hard working persistent men who prioritise and protectswomen in his life that gets to me 😫
@Yuh_me Fair, thanks for opening my eyes; your take on Joohee makes sense tho. It's not like I actually hate Cha or anything, but I still don't really like Cha's crush on him, not saying it's not valid or anything, it's just their whole relationship dynamic is weird to me, idk how to explain it.
@Yuh_me I couldn't have said it better. The Jinwoo and Joohee ship drowned a while ago. Just because they liked each other once, doesn't mean they're right for each other. The conversation is tired at this point.
