@starrystar I agree 100% with what you say and also the translator!
strangeley I kinda find it entertaining that he's so unhinged in this chapter, reminds me of the good old times of the first season when everything was unhinged and over the top. I am glad we are over the "lovey dovey" but somehow off arc...
however, you made me realize that I was too happy that Jaehyuk didn't choose to do meaner things, that I forgot how much it annoyed me in the last chapters that people think not wanting to be "out" is a crime and reason to fight. Especially you made me think how disappointing it is that he basically returned to his old garbage and superficial self...
it's not only the not letting garam talk, but also the never trying to see it from his perspective. Little to no empathy.
Garam should stop to say, that his choice to not come out is for jaekhyuk, though. It is for himself. That's the only big mistake I see him making.(well running away within talking was extremely stupid as well)
As much as it should be his own choice to not come out, he can't decide for Jae to stay in the closet. They should just break up to be healthy. Sad that Jae chose to bring in toxic alpha male BS... using weaknesses and old scars to manipulate garam.
I tend to think though, that Jae is really just super stupid and doesn't realise, that he's using psychological violence. (Doesn't make it better, I know).
He probably thinks he had a brilliant idea how they can stay together, without Garam having to come out and Jae himself not having to stay in the closet, somewhere on the lines of:
"I am not gay anymore= I'm not in the closet; garam is just a friend = so garam can stay in the closet."
