-and we barely see the side of the glasses boy he is such a nothingburger of a character like there is absolutely nothing interesting about him. he just exists and shirayuki is in love with him because he has horrible self esteem issues and gets stepped on by everyone. like they don't even know each other. glasses boy says he is only friend but all we see of them being friends is like one very short scene interrupted by a new character appearing.
it doesnt even touch on >>why<< shirayuki is doing all this and more on just shirayuki torturing people. if it touched on shirayukis love for glasses boy and gave it more depth, i would be more understanding but no its just torture po**
and ive got to say this manga touches extremely sensitive subjects absolutely horribly, caricaturizes every single antagonist and simplifies very complex and dark issues. it keeps antagonizing women, and sees ra** as a fitting punishment. every bad character is pure evil with no depth
and so far there hasnt been a single instance of shirayuki facing some kind of consequence or a reaction from glasses boy. i really wonder where this is heading rn because glasses boy is so unaware it hurts
anyways so far this story seems like its going absolutely nowhere and its just repeating itself it's starting to get boring i am following this manga because it has such a pretty art style and an equally pretty protagonist but like the story needs to take a turn atp the author cant use the same tricks over and over
i dont think manga can be saved its absolute sh** but i am kinda curious about it so if the author somehow manages to make this manga take an interesting turn i am willing to see it lol
