In the original novel, they don´t have a child, first of all, they dont want to, and second, Karlyle does not have uterus (some alphas has uterus).
Buuuuuuuuut, there is an Alternaive Universe in wich Karlyle gets pregnant, but is a totally diferent situation, like, their first meeting is diferent and everything else.
I totally recommend you to read the novel :D, its a lot more explained (every part, their interactions and also, THOSE parts ah~)
