I respect your opinion  because what you said is partially true  from a realistic  point of view , but why do you think Grey deceived everyone, because  he got an opportunity  to experience  what he longed for in his previous  life, a family.. Surely it would have been easier for him if he disclosed the situation earlier, but this is a fantasy reincarnation story we are talking about, so it was bound to have a plot like this.

As far as your opinion regarding the romantic relationship  with a minor, Grey was against this too in the beginning,  he resisted a lot because  he was aware that his actions are wrong, but you just can't help falling in love, now again my opinion is based on the fact that this is a fantasy fiction we are talking about and not an realistic approach to the situation.

Bruh, this isn't mushoku tensei. It's not like he lusted after his mother and got in bed with a child. He did the most rational thing and laid low, not bringing any attention to himself and NOT using his new age as an excuse to grope milfs and loli's.
Arthur is one of the most mature takes on age regression I've ever seen.

The fact that he wanted to experience a life with a family doesn't make him any less of a psychopath for impersonating someone's small child for years 24/7.

Also, resisting at the beginning doesn't make him any less of a pedo: he still gave in and became romantically involved with a minor. A normal person wouldn't fall in love with a child.

And don't say he was forced into the relationship: he should have the strengh and maturity to refuse her advances, and instead he goes "welp, she kissed me, might as well marry her then!".

I agree he's not as bad as other similar protagonists and that this should be expected from this kind of story (in fact i still like the story), but that doesn't make his parents' reaction any less justified considering how extremely criminally psychopathic, manipulative, egotistical and deceitful his behaviour has been with them.

Why exactly would Arthur be a psychopath for "pretending" to be their child? Yes, he's a middle aged man but he got thrown into a child's body with no knowledge of world he was in. He couldn't talk at first either and even when he could, he couldn't exactly say "hey, I'm not actually your son but a 30+ year old man". Remember that he used to be very cautious and cold as that was how he had to survive in his original world. He didn't know what his parents' exact reaction would be and they could very easily overpower him as he was a child at the time. Not to mention that he did have an attachment to them at the beginning since this was the family that he'd wanted in his previous life. Of course, it was somewhat superficial at the start but as he spent more time with them, he developed a genuine love for them.

Judging from his parents reaction (not saying that their reaction was not justified), he was correct in making the choice to not tell them until he could properly defend himself and could also give them time to digest that information in the time that he would be away. By defend I mean, if they come to the decision that they don't want to associate with him anymore, he has a place to go. 

I sorta agree with the pedo part thought, since Tessa is still a minor.

However, the pedo part is iffy depending on how you look at the situation, it's like if an 1000 year old g** that looked 20 was in a relationship with a 20 y.o. Since Arthur is technically the same age, it's just that his mental age is much, much older. Regardless, Tessa isn't of age, so yea.

I was like why did u get so many dislikes when u had a good point but as I started reading further It got me upset too.....
I never make opinions about characters or try  understand their decision just because them being protoganist......
In my opinion parents reaction and Arthur's decisions are equally right and important...In this world anything is not completely right or completely wrong.....
Do u even know the meaning of psychopath......no no no....u just use it as a curse whenever u see someone doing something that u don't like..... It's someone withe a twisted mindset and their minds are on different levels to do anything....
How is he a psychopath when he was trying to live like a normal and a different life from his past and starting a new journey.....and he didn't even know the reason for his rebirth 
At that time it was the most rational thing he could do......and most of us would have done......and now he told them the truth just because he was feeling guilty and wanted to be truthful.....
Not everyone is understanding like those MLs in manhwas and mahunas....who understands everything without asking questions.... about those lovely moments which were planned.....they were his parents who loved their child dearly only to know it was an adult who was acting like a child.....ofc they'd be devastated and this kind of things needs time to recover.....they all made descision according to the situations they were in and they were not wrong they were rational  because his birth was something serious and it would have caused people to hurt either now or then.....if they had the power to accept everything and free of bodily emotions  then they must have  been like  Sadguru and Dalai Lama.....

Guys, I don't want to argue anymore, but if you really think impersonating someone else's child for years because you want a family is normal i'm worried for you, i mean such a behaviour is just sick and egotistical and any normal person would just tell the parents as soon as possible or simply disappear from their lives instead of continuing with years of lies. Imagine if YOUR son wasn't actually your son, but a middle aged stranger, and thus all that you think about him was a lie and you don't know him at all. He deceived you constantly for years and the bond that you think you have is just in your mind because not once was he being genuine with you. And this person for years acts like your child to avoid raising suspicion and lives in your home at your expense. 

Of course he couldn't tell them on day 1 and risk death, but he's been a powerful and independent person with connections in high society for a while now...

Also what are you saying about everybody reincarnating? I don't know if that's your religious belief, but there's absolutely 0 scientific evidence of that ever happening on earth so i call BS on your data about it.

can you imagine if 3 years old in our world all remembered their past lives and collectively decided to never speak about it and instead act like babies for years? Lol

Like imagine how ridiculous it would be when babies do stupid things (such as drinking soap and poisons) if they had the minds of middle aged men. They'd be like "i know i'll die if i drink this, but if babies don't do this anymore, adults will be suspicious of us and maybe find out aboit our reincarnation, which would be bad because... Reasons i guess? So i must drink this poison and die for the greater reincarnated baby-good".
