It used to be an actual name before people started referring to it as an insult and the male genitalia
yeah its also for some reason a nickname to people named Richard
I kind of like the writing of it in English, in Dutch it is Dik (also a completely normal name). It could also be used as an insult, or to refer to the male genitalia.
