Gotta admit, the MC he literally no reason to lie there, but for some reason he did it anyways. It's like if my friend asked me if I played video games when I got off of work and I told him no even though I definitely did. The fact that he did lie here tells me that the MC is an impulsive liar.

@ClassyG Author just needed an excuse to cause more drama. There was literally no reason for him to lie or even feel anxious about telling the truth.
