it's their environment that makes it hard for them to be honest with themselves: maki's parents urging her to hurry up and get married as if that's the only way she can be happy, that pathetic B A S T A R D abusing midori, and the people's expectations which forces nikaidou to hide her sexuality.
I'm sure that on the course of this manga we'll see how these women can overcome these issues, but I can't stand you saying that they're just putting themselves through that pain.
