Comment by Kann on Big Apple - Chapter 22

Twenty chapters into the story and I still haven't got why the author titled this one as 'Big Apple' 
Does it represent the apple in the Adam and Eve story where Eve bit into the apple ? which was like a form of betrayal to their earlier promise not to eat of the fruit? So we should also anticipate betrayal in this story? 

I know my theory sounds like too much of a stretch!
