Ah the mom doesn't mean anything harmful, she's actually reaching out checking on him. She knows her son has problems with emotions and she knows seo's mental and physical health are at risk. So she is seeing if Seo is doing okay. 

That conversation at the parents house was actually her being concerned that her son might be bad for Seo, who is sweet, not the other way around.

Since she has had a miscarriage she knows what it is like to worry about losing a baby.
