So your logic is just because men laughed at her because she as a woman involved herself within sh** woman don't get involved everything has to go her way? Wake up in reality this wont be the case ? if anything the author is jus being realistic not mysoginistic

It's a battle field you kill or you be killed 
everyone is an enemy either it's a girl or a boy or a child as long as they have the will to kill you you will have to kill them too

The amount of brain dead hollow skin shells in this world baffles me. 

I don't think the author is misogynistic, but rather the era in which the story takes place. Being a woman meant being a housewife, taking care of the children and cooking, so being a woman who practiced martial arts was already frowned upon and they were branded as "weak". That is what I think ;)
