OH OKAY WAIT, DEBRIEF:
the first guy who was sleeping with MC is a toxic bf
MC left/broke up with the toxic bf and went to some restaurant with his close friend
Close friend sees old friend (Old friend (blonde) is... restaurant owner?)
Close friend gets drunk so he leaves
MC goes to another bar with the restaurant owner
Bartender in the new bar is the toxic bf
MC gets sick and thinks toxic bf drugged him
Toxic bf beats MC up and MC passes out
Some stranger saves MC and takes him to his place
Stranger knows too much about MC, so he's supposedly a stalker
HOWEVER, stranger asks whether MC remembers him or not so they must've met before

Toxic bf, close friend, restaurant owner, and stranger are all different people... BUT THEY LOOK SO ALIKE IT'S HARD TO KEEP UP. MC is just flirting with the stranger because it's what he does to have somewhere to live.
