I mean, it doesn't make sense, plot wiselly, for him to make 'bonds' in this tower, since his brother was BETRAYED, yall know the meaning behind this word no?? We don't know when or if such thing will happen, so then to evade such thing we do what again??? EXACTLY!! Don't make any bond since the very beggining............so then, for him, that are there to take revenger for his brother(who was betrayed by plp he trusted, even his LOVER {let's be very detailisty here bc wise is not for many...} make bonds with plp, and worse, marry one of then with the intention of build a familly there and all, well in MY eyes??? bs, it goes south of what was originally the goal..............not to say that she doesn't LOOK like a fl, in my eyes, when the two of then are side by side i can just see a younger sister, dunno if in the novel it is like this, maybe thte adaptation wasn't the best but it is what it is............
