My g**, that was not an enjoyable read. Author notes say "immature love" was the intended portrayal, which I could see as inspiration, but by the end of season 2 the poor choices every character was making were just so grating. There was no growth as people at all unfortunately. It's just a really frustratingg read and there's basically no romance in it at all. There's justa frustrating plot and lots of uncomfortable seeming f*cking.
