Review by I love hyuka for Roses and Champagne

Initially the plot was good and the relationship dynamic between Lee won and Cesar was cute to me, because I love a good enemies to lover's trope. But where people often go wrong with this is going in and reading as if Cesar is some green flag (dude is literally in a Russian mafia any type or form of mafia cand never Be in the same sentence as green flag)due to the over romanticism of mafia culture 🤢not to say he was a red flag in the beginning he was orange at best, but is was never as though he was perfect but his toxic behavior is often overlooked (him pointing a gun at a kid?!). The 🍇 scenes (yes multiple chapters of it unfortunately) was so unnecessary, him shooting lee won wasn't so great either but that added to his mafia personality and his "your mine" mentality so it kinda made sense but him 🍇ing Lee won made the story distasteful to continue to read and it seems like it's kinda skimmed over. On another Cesar is so fuc**** dramatic and is a headache 🙄 and I think Lee won has Stockholm syndrome or something or he's a little sadistic because why does he stay genuine question🤔?!. On another side note why does nobody talk abt the fact Cesar's cousin lowkey wants to kill Lee won and Cesar just lets that sh** slide for some odd reason like tf 🤨 Ho is u coo?! But yea it's been a few since I read this maybe after some therapy I'll re read and come back with some more opinions 😃👍🏾
