There is a huge difference between avoidance and ignoring. In order to avoid someone would require you to acknowledge their existence and a justification. None of that is needed to ignore a person.
Ok one thing that has annoyed me so far is her lack of mentioning the legend of the Crimson Maiden to anyone even though it is mirroring her current situation. She has noticed no one here knows the legend which is weird given their proximity and relation to her homeland. She tells them how she was treated yet never mentions how that legend is the cause of her treatment. She never brings it up even when the kingdom she is in is the topic of the legend. How does this kingdom not know the legend when the legend is the motivation for the hostility? None of this is explained at all. Then the pureblood faction has a secret library with a book about the legend and no one is noticing the parallels at all.

Ok I have been binge reading this and after 90 chapters I just realized something important that makes all these dragons look real stupid. He isn't living under a fake identity or anything. He is still using the name he has had his whole life. Him being the greatest Dragon Slayer of the Empire. How does no one know his name? I mean he has killed the most dragons of any humans so how does no one outside of the guy he just kill not put 2 and 2 together. He showed up when he disappeared from the Empire that branded him a traitor. Con only figured it out mid fight from his aura not his name.

@Max well he did grow up in the slums where wearing his emotions on his sleeve was a bad thing. He has also had a traumatic life fighting for survival everyday in the slums. These things can desensitize you and make you appear emotionless. It's just a survival mechanism and something seen in PTSD patients. He also talks about how he is missing something that allows him to connect with people so maybe even a little bit of sociopathy going on here. He may be able to mimic emotion, but not feel it. Given where he grew up he never had to develop his mimicry of emotion skills.

@Manwoaw what are the odds he is a reincarnator as well? They dropped a little hint earlier. He has a weapon that isn't supposed to show up until a later chapter in the game. A reincarnator would know how to get the weapon earlier on.

@Unevenblink you need to look at the time period reflected. Infant mortality and even death during childbirth wasn't uncommon. So here you have a doctor who has probably seen this so much he is personally numb to it and has lost his ability to empathize. So to him it is just a Tuesday thing. Not saying he is right just that he is numb to it. This is a period where many children where dead by 12. These infant, child, and childbirth deaths were what brought the life expectancies down so much. Death was a simple fever away.

@Damon_swifu if you don't extract the fetus and placenta after a miscarriage you run the risk of a fatal infection. Normally they are naturally expelled and they will do a fundus rub(I think that is the proper spelling) to aid the process. Now they will do a procedure called a DNT(I believe that's what it is called) to ensure nothing is left behind to prevent infection. So they will have the actual baby right there and can look.
