I think ML wanted to show what MC agrees to in this case (worst case scenario) to check the sincerity of his confession, to make sure that it was not a momentary impulse. Although I will not say that he did the right thing, but considering that his feelings have been going on for a very long time, I understand his bias. Because for him this is serious, not a short fling

To be honest, I haven't read the main story (and judging by the flashbacks mentioned here, there's a lot of drama), but this... This is exactly what I was looking for! I love it! I don't want too much drama, I want this, these feelings, this excitement and all of it!

I'm really afraid of the time when all the lies will be revealed. I kind of understand Josh and his situation, but Chase... My poor boy. All his behavior, distrust and caution. All this is happening for a reason. He is literally a hostage to his family, his status and just who he is. And all this deception by Josh (even if he doesn't mean anything bad and has no ulterior motives) can just completely break Chase and destroy him. I'm so afraid of this
