And lastly since I'm self projecting, I do feel a bit sad for the misunderstandings that's going since when I was younger I also felt neglected but obv not to her level and it felt like my parents didnt rlly care for me as much even tho all i wanted was their love and attention and ik that if younger me saw my relationship with them now she'd cry tears of joy. Its js cuz she wished for it so hard yk, i kinda js want her to be able to experience it and love it but if she feels that never speaking to them is the best way forward, i'll respect it

I also feel only a little bad for the dad cuz yh his wife did abandon him after he knocked her up and proceeded to die shortly after. Not too much tho cuz he's a deadbeat, its not even like they're showing him having favoritism to any of the kids it just feels like he might have become a bit of a shell of himself after she abandoned him.

I've never really hated the brothers since I've come to classify them as victims of abuse. I think the way Miragen's mom beat into him that he shouldn't care for or pity people really stops his growth, and at his age, and with the death of their mother, a lot of the responsibility for the way they treat Ashtarte falls onto them. Also, I have a bit of a soft spot for Noah, seeing how he's also a victim of neglect; his mom didn't really care about him, and I felt like she 'bred' him to be Miragen's aide, and Miragen is obviously stand-offish and doesn't get that close to people anyway. Its a miracle there's been no resentment between them thus far, and their dad is a deadbeat, and Ryllie (idr how to spell her name) only seems to care for Miragen and their father.
