@Oblivion77  So, if this commenter has a real diagnosis then I’m sorry, if they don’t have a diagnosis but ‘know’ they have ocd, get a diagnosis, that way you can receive help to not struggle with ocd. Otherwise, stop being a pretentious pr*** who causes major problems for people with actual ocd. Ocd is a very real problem, but people like you who claim to have ocd despite having no real symptoms of ocd and instead just wanting things to be how you like, which isn’t ocd, it’s human, are causing people to not take ocd issues seriously.

@Oblivion77 Since this comment seems somewhat decisive let me say this, I am calling this person a bi*** for horribly misrepresenting ocd, and claiming they have ocd. About 96% (It’s hard to find a recent study on how many people claim to have ocd but but, so I decided to round the number down to give the benefit of the doubt) of people who claim to have ocd don’t have it. Wanting things to be a certain way is not ocd, it’s human nature. Ocd is when if things aren’t a certain way you get physically ill or start hurting yourself (not intentionally), and all around heavily impact your life, not; ‘ugh I don’t like looking at this as it can be more even and would be so much nicer if it were even’. Another thing to consider is that ocd isn’t as clear cut as even numbers > odd numbers, for most people with ocd a specific number just does it for them and is perfect and everything else is the same, and it doesn’t necessarily need to make sense, it could 9 or 11 instead of 10 despite 10 being right there and being a nice number that’s both even and a multiple of 10. Ocd can flare up due to a number being odd yes, but as the number gets bigger that becomes less and less of a factor. By the time you get to the 70s most people’s with ocd favourite number in the 70s will depend on what their comfort number is primarily, so someone whose comfort number is 9 will likely have either 72 (7+2=9) or 79 (7 and 9) be their favourite of the available numbers, but aside from those numbers, a balanced number (66, 77, 88, etc) is more likely to be favoured.

@Whatever She was getting better, don’t get me wrong, but she was no where near getting over her feelings. Yes a potential future relationship has been alluded to, but never due to her possibly having feelings (every time she has done something for him it has been positioned in such a way that she sees it either as for self satisfaction at helping someone, or because she places no real importance on it). Even in the more recent chapters, 90% of the time we see her she’s either staring at Taiki when he isn’t paying attention, looking away upset after Taiki doesn’t swoon for her how she wants, or her having anything but a happy face on as the main relationship gets mentioned by those around them. She has frankly had almost no character development, the author has just laid the groundwork for her to have an amazing arc later, but that’s due to the other characters she has interacted with. We may look back and say her character arc started 70 chapters ago, but that will be once her growth actually begins, and we see what sort of arc she’s going to have definitively. The author just has 11/10 character writing

@john I never said his magical growth was good or well written, I said his trauma was. While I do think he should be growing quicker, I also don’t think his growth is slow enough to make the series terrible. What I was talking about is the fact that most of the comments I read were about how sh** he is at handling his emotions, which is a bullshit thing to complain about for this series as his emotional immaturity makes sense. Slow progression of strength is an actual reasonable thing to fault a series for, someone who has never been able to fully develop emotionally not having fully developed emotions is a bs thing to complain about. I started my comment by saying Im not a big fan of the series because I didn’t really enjoy it. I just hold the opinion if you’re going to criticize something, criticize it in good fait, even if you despise whatever it is.

@Trayzix He is a child. Between both of his lives the only time that he likely was treated as an equal was his time in the heroes party, which wasn’t exactly filled with mentally sound individuals. So yes he’s insufferable, but it also makes sense since he spent most of his first life alone in a library, and this life he’s spent a lot of it being practically worshipped by some of the most influential people in the world. I’m hoping he gets a good character arc as this series isn’t that bad.
