@Abormel not a spoiler, it was explicitly revealed a few chaps ago, his parents are just insane. they have huge expectations of him, they're not even against him dating actually but the catch is that it's only allowed as long as he's number 1 at everything. they also want him to go to a top uni and i think also a national athelete? i guess his parents, since they're rich and powerful, would cause problems for jayu? but basically he's worried he'll end up neglecting her as she waits for him and he wants her to live a fulfilling life even as he's tied down

@PurrpiTator but this made up disease makes it clear as to why she loves perfumery so much, why she's so touched at being able to smell things. it's a simple, everyday experience for the rest of us, but for her it marked the beginning of her inevitable death. She slowly lost the things that made life worth living, so being able to smell again makes this new life so much more worthwhile, since it was the first sense she was deprived of. the made up disease adds more emotion and tragedy to her character.

@Saro A in one of the earlier chapters it mentioned that he went to the gym often and that people wanted him to go into pro fighting but he never did because he couldn't afford it. im guessing he went to the gym and trained often and that's why he's so skilled physically. he had the potential of being a proathlete but never did bc of money issues

@jason curley how tf does she deserve it? are you stupid? she's a young child who just went through a traumatic experience, nearly losing both her mom and brother - she probably just wanted comfort after it all who better to offer comfort and support than a saint? the saints, like libra, are renowned internationally for upholding peace and justice and are generally believed to be good people. If her dad is a saint and fits this description, and he does, then yooha has no reason to think that this isn't the same for all the other saints. it's stupid of you to blame her - she accepted the gift, after initially refusing, in order to be polite and not come across as rude to someone she assumed was her dad's friend. her logic was sound and made sense - unlike you
