@Ryan I actually dislike this mentality. For one, it makes sweeping generalizations with no evidence to back them up. Beyond that, I don't think what the MC is doing should be treated as the norm or something to look up to. It's genuinely impressive, but it's also an unrealistic depiction as it doesn't show the mental and physical toll someone in that situation would actually go through. My main point is that comparing people from different geographical and socio-cultural backgrounds is incommensurable, since each of them faces their own circumstances and obstacles that you're glossing over by prioritizing one over the other.

I find the ml thoughts interesting since it is somewhat common. When people tend to experience the lows of their life a lot of times they wonder or get mad / question why other people are happy. This doesn't necessarily mean that they would want to ruin the days of people who are feeling happy , but could potentially be so.

@Alyex by the foreshadowing , no. Also think about the conversation the mc had with the publisher about the 'bad guy troupe'.

Bruh... everything was good until the last part. "You seem like a child ... ". I am not going to a*s more to it , but I hope you understand how that is deeply wrong. It may have been a mis-translation or I may be taking it out of context ... but still.

with all due respects , he couldn't have predicted that var with those many vairables ( unknown too ) and the level of uncertainty. Ik the author is trying to frame him as some really high level of being a genius especially with references to big brother. But that's straight up impossible

@Aliyah Big Brother is a reference ( I am assuming it is from 1986 ) of a government that used hyper surveillence for their people. In this context I assume it is the father having all the information
