Am I just slow?....because that shjt did not make sense

I feel like they glossed over the weddings. Like this whole thing was because they needed to get married but when they do, it's just a couple of scenes. I was waiting for the magical wedding photos and remedying all the characters. Having all the characters meet each other, some funny things that happened at the wedding, or something. But they just kinda threw the wedding at us and showed them going down the aisle, nothing else. Kinda disappointing but this is still very good lol.

Spoilers...? But I am also explaining what has happened. (After reading the story on this site, I also read this on another site just to compare the story. And the other site made more sense than this one so I'm gonna go based off the other site, but it's the same concept)

The guy with a scar on his face is the emperor's 
son, the prince. He is obsessed with the lord and the lord's ex's relationship. Don't get it twisted, he isn't interested in either of them — he's interested in their relationship(them as a whole pair). Now we don't really know why (even the lord doesn't know), but he was so obsessed that it got dangerous. The prince basically tortured the lord because the lord and the ex broke up, and it was because they wanted to avoid this exact situation. The ex didn't want the lord to be in harms way because of the prince's obsession but he still ended up getting hurt anyway. (This is the panel where the lord looks beat up and the prince looks like he is yelling). The prince is not reprimanded as much as he should've been because he is the son of the consort that the emperor adores, which is probably why he is like this. The lord and and ex met when they were working and training together as government officers, this is also how they get entangled with the prince. But now, everyone kinda knows about Beom and this bothers the prince. The prince then spreads the news about Beom and the lord has a hunch that it is probably the prince that has started the news, meaning the prince most likely is targeting Beom. Towards the end the maid/Beom's mom asks about Beom's marriage life and Beom responds by saying he already has someone he wants to marry. Any questions? Lol

hopefully this helps, but from what I understood, the lord went to go find the maid lady because she is a part of beoms past(someone who took care of him). The place the lord went to is dangerous because there is another lord who owns or is in charge of that land(something like that). He goes and ends up finding the maid. The maid then asks him if he is his mother's son. He is confused and she proceeds to tell him the past. From what I understand, the maid was a regular maid and Beom’s mom was the hand maid, main maid(the maid who does everything with the lord’s mom). One day, after they go pick flowers, the lord’s mom and the regular maid learn that Beom’s mom is pregnant. Beom’s mom passes away and tells the regular maid to take care of Beom, the lord’s mom, and the lord. The lord’s mom also passes away after a while and the incident happens. One night while the regular maid is over watching the lord by standing near the main wall(where the lord is staying at), she sees the assassin and yells to warn others. The regular maid runs away while carrying Beom and the lord is wounded on his neck. This incident was caused by the concubine that the lord’s father took in(the lord’s younger brother’s mother), she most likely hired assassins. MEANING THAT BEOM AND THE LORD HAS BEEN NEXT TO EACH OTHER EVER SINCE THEY WERE KIDS, anyways, because the regular maid has been taking care of Beom, he thinks she is his mother(that’s why he called her mom, even though she really isn’t).
