I Would Not take him back bro, the growing awareness is important but that period of intense stress is frankly unforgivable, especially without any level of time to process this newly changed person. Things can end like how the audience would like them to, but only eventually, and if handled differently.

@Itz_dark Chris Right Im actually fully wrong and that it was a repressed memory. The light novel explains Kaede crushed on the younger brother first as children. Then when he was rejected for this heteronormativity, he repressed the painful memory, internalising the wish to be female purely to be accepted by society. MbG
