I think the prince the knight Angela in her. Maybe the story of the knighy angela was a source of comfort. That he is probably, fanboying and not in love. I wanna see his face when he finds out that she is a knight.

Also, you all people should understand that father is as much as a f*r as the mother. Just because he didn't directly take part in the bad treatment does not mean he is not responsible, he is a damned bystander in his daughter's mistreatment. Many mothers always only get the shade in this kinda s*y families when the father is as much at fault.

Idk why you all are blaming MC. Unlike ML, MC has more to lose wheb it comes to love. You need to understand MC is working in a field that is alpha-dominated. And to gain power that he has gotta be more careful and ruthless than his alpha counterpart, cuz he will scrutanised more. People are always waiting a chance to pull down the 'omega who is playing at being an alpha'. And the middle of all this is the dude he likes, who is tryna intefere in his aspiration. I would call anybody who after years of hardwork and effort lost everything for love, while you are not 100 percent sure about their love for you an idiot. Have u all not read enough stories where the MC trusted the useless ML and lost a lot?
We know Lee Hyundo loves him and cares for him, but can MC be 100 percent sure. Even we had doubts in the beginning over trusting Hyundo, but we realised it's ok cuz we read his thoughts and past. MC does not have that luxury, the moment he softens, the moment he decides to stop being suspicious of everything is the moment he'll lose everything.

And u all having problems with MC forgetting ML's so called promise, that was some random thing MC told ML. Have you all not enough stories where the ML latches on to some random words of the MC and make it their personality?
