i think the fact that you started flirting as a joke, made a passion between you both, even as a joke it can cause some feelings.
tor example, my ex bf and i were flirting sm and always say stuff like "date me" until he came out and said date me, seriously, and i cannot say no back then because if the feelings I've got just from joking.. yet, i dont tell you its not love (what you feel) im just giving you an example for that extra flirting.
if you really love him, think, is he the one you want to be with? What things you live abt him? What's your chance to be good for each other?
but also i think, if he got a girlfriend, he must be jokingly flirting with you, and you also got yourself a bf (congrats!) if you really was in love with him, you wouldn't get over him right?
