@Markipliers milkipliers Well, you see, I do prefer sm**, but I think shounen ai is what I am getting instead ๐Ÿ˜ƒ you know, in my country we have a say that translated sounds more or less like: either you eat that soup, or you jump from the window. Like Tei basically ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ™€๏ธ

Okkay ... If the author keeps teasing me like this, I will end up earing the voices like Shuraka ๐Ÿคช But wait, I smell shounen ai in the air ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ Let's go to an adventure, flying like a bird from the window, my bully boy!

@Noonahereforsmut Because he feels guilty about it, and thinks that with kavva, Jeak would have get the best treatment. He really is upset and wanted Jaek to be recognised as the most hard working and skilled swimmer. The next chapter will clarify some of his thoughts. We will get a nice confrontation between the two, finally.

ItsNotOverYet

@ItsNotOverYet Yes, he started it, but why? To set an example for his brothers? To scare them? From a strategical point of view, leaving the father and strongest brother fight, could lead to the best outcome, since they could kill each other. And, again, Shuraka was very young; getting your hands dirty killing your own father, if he is not directly threatening your life is, at best, morally questionable. I feel like the author wants to give a very strong dark aura to Shuraka; this is good, but if this darkness/madness does not leak out even to his beloved, but only to others, it is just romanticized stereotype โ˜น๏ธ

So it turns out it was Shuraka who started it all. In Chapter 6, I understood situation as Nashid wa...
We will get a tournament and see some fights! ๐Ÿ˜ I hope Tei will ask Nashid if he was the one behind the poisoning attempt. Or, he could ask Nashid how Obaran died. It is strange that he had to scrap those facts from Nashid tongue; there was no reason to hide the truth about the concubines. But, I see the point of hiding that Shuraka beheaded his father; he was just 12 at the time. This must be difficult for Tei to digest. I hope Nashid will have more to give to the story; he would have made such an awesome villain; unless he is hiding something, it looks like his role has been downgraded. The romance between him and Larr sounds a bit like clichรฉ: the evil father who takes his own son lover for only G@d knows why, since he can have all the other women in the empire. But ok, we needed a reason to hate the old man - and appreciate Shuraka for slashing his head- and we got it, I suppose.

Dash! - Chapter 43

Wow, I see more comments here ๐Ÿ˜ It felt lonely reading many chapters with no comments in it. So, understand the exploding frustration here. I read the novel so I have that background on my side, therefore I feel confident the artist will convey all the emotions lingering between the characters. MC acting distant has a reason, and of course he is totally underestimating what the ml is capable of. I 'll stop now before saying too much ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

@Dead_Doll yeah I know, It feels frustrating, but actually MC has good reasons. In the novel, he gets to explain himself and It Is kind of heart breaking. Well, I do not want to give you spoilers, but give the story someย  more time, It will totally payoff. Unless you really want It, I prefer not to give too many ints, but I hope you can hang out here, It feels lonely when I read and see no one is leaving a comment ๐Ÿ˜ƒ It Is quite selfish, I know, but I guaranty you will get the emotional payoff very soon โค๏ธ

@Dead_Doll I read the novel and I can tell that there will be a turning point in 1 or 2 chapters max. It Is such a pity for this story, because the pace initially was good, but then the artist or producer decided to follow the novel too much. They could have cut so many useless parts and acceleretad the pace, like this of course the readers get tired.

@Anonymous Oh no, I imagined something similar when I read that post, I don't know why. I hope the author does not take this path, this would be heart breaking ๐Ÿ˜ญ Me too, I just want them to have a fulfilling life, they don't need children for this.

@Mia Yes I saw the post/tweet, a reader posted the korean version too actually. It is fine, as long as the story Is well built and satisfying from an artistical and emotional point of view. Still, Tei's thoughts about children and being a woman left a sour aftertaste on me. I hope the story recovers soon from this unfulfillment that lingers between the main couple.
