The guilt I'm talking about, which I did state, is that Ian feels guilty because of what he put TJ through in the beginning. It's great that he helped him in the past with the drugs, but  again everything that has transpired since then has been a mess, whether you like to admit it or not.
Who says it was easy to leave? Ian is struggling right now but he's still trying. Literally said he would kill himself to pay it back. You judged the he** out of Ian for joining, why can't I judge TJ for staying? You judged the he** out of him when he's trying to turn his life around. That's why this story is only going to pi** you off because you don't like the MC. Why ship Tjian if you don't lile Ian? Makes sense you don't like Ian, because if you did, you wouldn't root for him and TJ. TJ can stay all he wants but needs to leave Ian alone then. Ian wants to move on with his life. He got his certification, he's making improvements in his life. Jo is about to go to school and watch him ask Ian to go and Ian will say yes. Ian killed someone in self defense, which is sad, but he was able to get off. He called the lawyers to tie him down with the debt. When he felt nothing, that's when he decided to leave the gang. He needed therapy, not, debt, or a broken leg. You need therapy too it seems, bud 🙂↕️

Clearly you do care to a certain extent or else you wouldn't have shared your opinion. I care about Ian and want him to be happy, which is why I commented. I'm not mad though because it's a fictional story, like you stated. Never blamed TJ for everything that's wrong with Ian. Ian has many faults. He joined the gang and did drugs, however, he did ruin his future. Ian did kill someone but it was in self defense. The lawyer said he could've gotten away with it but TH said nah put him in jail. You can say whatever excuse you want but that's terrible "protection." Breaking his leg and sending him to jail is not terrible to you I guess. He ended up sending him to jail anyways. 19 years of pain, which is why they need to free themselves of each other. The reason why Ian keeps coming back is the guilt, for the most part. Yes, he cares about him but he's also trying to leave it all, which is why he's working so hard to pay off the debt. The development between Ian and Jo is that they've been spending so much time together, like we just saw. Ian feels at peace with Jo. We see his inner dialouge regarding this. It seems like a future is really possible, whereas with TJ and Ian, not as much. TJ sold the house he planned to live in with Ian. The guilt he feels like he involved TJ in everything in the past is something that the both can't let go. TJ was grown, he joined because he wanted to. No one forced him
