@THE MOST ANCIENT DREAM Yes, it did say that she ran away because of his madness, but was it the MC who said that? Because if it was (and I think it was), who told her this? Was it her mom? Or did she see how bad he was before and just assumed? Was it actually in the story? Sometimes, in these types of stories, things are misinterpreted or just assumed by the characters based on their personalities. But then, why would she tell her husband about 'the gift'? And why would she even use the seal?

Don't get me wrong—I’d bring the seal too because of its significance, but did the mom ask the fat dude to keep her safe from him, or did something else happen?"

"For those who don’t understand, this is only her second life in this particular story. The other 98 lives were different ones, but the one constant for her was that she was always the villain's daughter.

Her father did some pretty terrible things, as you've seen, but in her past life, all he did to her was ignore her, possibly ignoring her siblings too. He was likely too focused on reviving his dead wife, clinging to that one thread of hope that annoying guy gave him, hoping that one day he could hear his wife's laughter and see her smile at him again.

So yes, the 99 lives she endured were incredibly hard for her, and she shouldn’t just forgive and forget (yet), because trauma has a significant impact, and it's clear that it affected her. But it's also clear that he needs help, and as I read this, I really hope they can be a ray of sunlight in each other’s hearts in the end."
