The stuff with the company they work for not being perfect has also been a background topic for a while (Kurosawa being mistreated by other employees and not trusting others as a result, the HORRID way they handled things the time Matsuura harrassed Kurosawa) so I'm happy this is being adressed as well instead of being like "this is a problem with this woman alone" 'cause there's a reason why she can get away with acting this way y'know?

In a weird way I feel... happy? about this development. Happy isn't the right word, it's just... having everything turn out perfect and Kurosawa's assaulter was actually a nice person all along wouldn't fit with the rest of the story (and wouldn't sit right with me either). One of my favorite things about this comic is that it doesn't shy away from despicting the struggles that the main characters have, but it still manages to be hopeful in spite of that. With that in mind, I'm really looking foward to this new arch and the ways it'll make the character's grow
I hope the translator did well on their test, thanks a lot for the chapter!

(+) I re-read that chapter just in case too and Matsuura literally hasn't changed AT ALL. The first time she offered Kurosawa a position in her company (she asked him to be her secretary) and when he wasn't interested she tried to get him into a compromising position (getting him drunk) against his wishes. Now she's doing the exact same thing, using private/compromising info that she obtained against Kurosawa's wishes to get him to join her company. Where's the change?? She saw this man ONCE like two years ago so it's honestly scary how she both still remembers him and still has the same train of thought going on. There's been some cool parallelism/call backs to stuff in this manga already so I hope this is just another one.
everyone in the comments being all like "so i guess everything is okay then i'm so glad we don't have angst" it's ALSO giving big "men can't be victims" energy 'cause wdym no angst??? even if Matsuura hasn't outright threatened him it's still retraumatizing to Kurosawa :/

@KissKissFallinLovexo honestly I'm hoping this is building towards something based on how wrong this woman is in all of the points she makes. At the time she made her advances on Kurosawa he was a man who had exclusively dated women and didn't know he had the capability to like men, he began to like Adachi AFTER the trauma she inflicted on him. Assuming that Kurosawa was uncomfortable with her advances bcs "he's not into women" futhers the narrative that (het) men cannot be victims because "they always want it", that stuff is a part of toxic masculinity which is a thing we see Kurosawa struggle with throught the comic (it's mentioned that he's scared of asking for help or being vulnerable with others, at one point he plainly states that he felt pressured to act "more like a man", when he was assaulted no one in the company was there for him except for Adachi, everyone else just assumed everything was okay and left him alone while he was obv sick and we see Korosawa feeling pressured to just pretend up until the point Adachi reassures him that it's okay to be vulnerable). @marx himself exactly like she still sa'ed him ?? 😭 or are we just forgetting about that...
anyway to the person translating the chapter in case they're reading: thank you for your work, these look gorgeous. Good luck with your exam!!
why is everyone GLAZING this woman in the comments just for doing one (1) good thing??? She just assumed Kurosawa was gay (which she's WRONG about) and assumed THAT'S the reason why he was uncomfortable with her instead of y'know,, the fact that she used her position of power to get him drunk and take advantage of him. Like maybe just you did a horrible thing and Kurosawa's sexuality has nothing to do with that?
I'm all for having characters redeem themselves but it doesn't feel like she's reflected. I wouldn't want to work for someone who thinks is okay to come onto me as long as i like women

English isn't my first language either but the grammar seems fine. If I had to be nitpicky I'd say you didn't center the text at first and it looks better if you color-pick from the raws instead of using the default black but that's just like stuff you can do if you decide to keep translating in the future, please don't delete this 'cause it looks amazing!
boss makes a dolar i make a dime, that's why i go see my boyfriend on company time
okay but i relate to the glasses dude so much?? Both on asking things out of curiosity and having everyone assume I was being passive-aggresive and on his way of thinking, like if you hate this class then why are you here?? personally the only class i hate is the capitalist class
nope nopenope. taking back wath i said a couple chapters ago. don't go all evangelion on me i'm dropping ts
this is literally my autistic a** trying to make friends all the way through school. Honorable mention to the classmate in highschool who asked "why are you following me all the time?" to which I replied "... cause we are friends..." turns out we weren't friends apparently

I get why Dawon fed our mc lines like "my friend asked me to do it, why do you think that is?" when he was talking to Bae Jaemin but that wasn't the best choice. Like for someone like Dawon who is obv in the know it was a good choice but for Yikyung it would've been best to feign ignorance and pretend he's dumb as rocks (esp since he's a necromancer and everyone is looking down on him already). He should've been all like "Ahh, those! A friend asked me to borrow my account to sell them haha, I was all like "don't you have your own account?' but he told me he was banned or something-- bummer! Ahh, his name is [obviously fake name]! I met him in the market! He's super cool! Ehh, are those items really that rare?! I should've kept some for myself then-- bummer! And he owes me a lot of money too! I'm a newbie, teehee~". It's roughly the same info (the seller doesn't want their identity to be known) but instead of being a dude who is colluding with a person who Bae Jaemin probably knows, Yikyung is just some dumbass being tricked by a charlatan.
This is actual life advice for y'all. If you're being asked things by someone in power, you don't know anything and are stupid. No, you didn't notice that. No, you weren't really paying attention. Oh, you had no idea. That's how you stay out of trouble.

Interesting, I'm guessing he's latino since he said abue instead of grandma? I'll lend you my abue dude, she'd be okay with you wearing a dress

In the math around his head after discovering the vampires are near, Lucien is trying to find what where his chances of meeting the dryad —P(A)—, what were the chances of meeting TWO bosses one right after another — P(B|A)— and what are his chances of meeting both of them — P(A∩B)—. He concludes the later is zero — P(A∩B)=0—.... right before the vampire enters the bar

@Rei I hope so but also the clothing seems somewhat 1800s inspired, and in those times it was common for children to wear dresses regardless of their gender.

why does everyone think it's a trap I interpreted Lucien saying that the problems in this world are similar to that of our own as meaning that the dominant culture will both materially and ideologically opress those who diverge, hence the commonly sold potion harming a substantial ammount of the population that has been othered for their financial gain
