@Linnne Michelle's respects and loves his family including all his brothers. He agreed to marriage immediately cause he thought he owes so much to his family. But later on he understood that he was simply sold like an object and kinda got sad about it. The timespan in the main story is not that long so there wasn't any communication between Michelle and his brothers after marriage. Maybe somewhere in extras, but I haven't read them

@DRK _UNKNOWN Ain planned the worst tortures for him, but thankfully that all stayed only in his head. However there's still a bunch of manipulations, gaslighting and toxic behavior from Ain. But Michelle was so nice and innocent, that Ain still always lost his own mind games, while Michelle was completely unaware(that part was even funny). So all his bad intentions didn't seem That bad, while reading.

The only thing that was truly bad is when Ain sort of drugged Michelle with sleeping pills and he did that quite a lot of times

After it Ain survived alone mostly by robbing and was a member of a gang. Then he was caught and trafficed to the South with some other children.

He hates aristocrats cause of his experience when he was a s** slave as a child, gone through terrible sh** and was treated like a thing

I think the longest he was enslaved by Michelle's father, and cause Michelle's mother was pregnant with him, so Ain also decided that that baby belongs to him like for all his sufferings

Then Ain managed to become free and actually succeeded in business, he also used a lot of dirty ways for it.

After that Ain came back to his father Lord Shelag, who lost almost all his money and almost became broke. So he had no choice but to claim bas**** Ain as his heir and called him Ian.

Lord Shelag wife snd daughter obviously hated Ain and there was a lot if drama. after his father's death Ain became lord Shelag and started his revenge plan against Michelle's family.

Michelle's family was basically broke so they accepted all Ain's help and money, but he just made them dependant on him to destroy them all later.

And marriage with Michelle was also just like a part of revenge to Ain
