@Alice I don't think he actually knew, as he placed the two rings on their middle fingers. Since the rings look like a matching pair, he probably thought it was just some kind of keepsake that would signify their connection. So he likely doesn't know that it's a marriage custom lol

Hmmm, why is the middle finger with the ring? Moreover, I'm suprised that he knew about Earth's cust...

forgot to add: the art is really good! You can clearly tell the care the artist puts into this, and there's occasional snippets of how they draw the clothes too, which include references to actual historical clothes :)
The novel that this manhua is adapted from also has a donghua (Chinese animation) called "How Dare You!?" It's completed and pretty entertaining (。•̀ᴗ-)✧

I really like this kind of love-hate relationship Chloe has towards Damien. She definitely loves him, but all the pain he's caused her doesn't just go away.

It reminds me of some toxic relationships in real life, where some people can't help but still love their partner despite how clearly manipulative they are. It's especially reminiscent in abusive relationships.

While I don't think Damien is AS bad as some ppl in real life, he's clearly emotionally abusive despite also loving her in a very obsessive way. Obviously this relationship is not a green flag nor will it ever be one, but that's why it's fiction!

@Molly

I mean I think most guys who love their wife would choose her instead of an unborn baby they have no feelings for. It's different for women since they're the one carrying it for 9 months, but it's normal to not expect to lovea child until you actually get to hold them in person.

Well it's not new, some male leads are like that, they will rather kill their child rather than lose...
It's kind of tiring to watch men fall in love at first sight when they see the MC...It doesn't make sense, since I doubt that MC is the only pretty girl out there.

And it's not like it's a reverse harem either. The ML is confirmed!!! Why must there be like 100 other men chasing her for no reason 💀💀💀

@Nyx who is the ml the slave boy or the one she was sparring with...
yall the ML is currently a child, give him a break 😭
He's lived his entire life being second to none in his age group (and above) so of course he's a little arrogant. Dude has no friends too, since he's always busy training.
But he grows, and that's the thing, you can tell by his older self in MC's previous life.

While I too love Yayul, he simply doesn't fit as a first male lead. Main reason being is that he's TOO devoted, a little yandere. While his puppy like behavior towards the MC is cute, his extreme reliance on the MC is quite unhealthy, especially since MC isn't the type of person that meshes well with that kind of personality. There's a distinct power imbalance between them which is why he's more of a second ML, rather than the first.

@Loving the red flags

This guy's kinda the second male lead. The real male lead is the protagonist of the novel, Namgung Ryu-Cheong.

The blondish hair kid is the 4th (?) ML, but also not really. MC and him are mainly just friends, and he appears less later on

Is he the ml? I want the other boy with the blond-ish brown hair to be the ml
bunny sticker...
