Fuze does a really good job at painting the pictures with words. and the manga does a good job at following the light novel but there is so much more in the light novels that explains the little stuff that doesn't get explained.

@Cybogr3Ninja it's actually pretty easy if you are good at molding brass. and there is a tool you use to press the brass into the shell. if you get good at it you can make 200 rounds in a day
